Our articles, constructed meticulously from Italian craftsmen, are created in order to satisfy to bottom the several business and personal requirements. These handicraft products more follow criteria attention to the quality, than to the production amount. For this reason, our tried engagement and from the optimal materials employs to you, and from the cure of the particular. All our line of "viaggeria" is realized in a particular type of hides tanned slowly to the vegetable and with ancient effect by hand. It is just this treatment that confers to the skin all the ancient qualities and traditions of from Tuscany leathers. We guarantee that these hides resist to the rain, not stinge and not spot the apparel heads and that with the use it will maintain the fascination of its peculiarities.
The elegant inner linings of beauty and bags are
washable and antitear. The diplomatic briefcases can be lined
with such linings of the type "cinghialino" or with
the sport cracked lining in of skin.
The accessories like closings, shackles, little bells, etc is all constructed with optimal metallic alloys while their gilding and intentionally aged with valid chemistries techniques. The seams, traditional or with machine "marcapunto", executed with large thread, sure and are reinforced in some points which flanks, handles, and where greater robustness is needed. Finally we keep ourselves to specify that the skin, several the metallic parts, the linings and the workings all are mark with the brand "Made in Italy". THE VEGETABLE TANNING TANNING Everything starts, naturally, with leather. We only use full
grain hides from farmed animals. This guarantees first class leather
with an even grain and none of the scratches and imperfections
typical of hides sourced from wild animals. The 'Il Gabbiano'
tannery uses vegetable tannins and animal fats exclusively. We
treat our superior full grain leather with natural, biodegradable
materials only.

After the leather is hung from a machine known as a "turntable"
and dried in the warm air produced by "hot sanders".
DYEING Once it has been tanned and softened, the leather
goes on to the dyeing stage.
We only use wool pads, which we pass over the surface by hand again and again. As a result, each piece of leather takes on unique shades of colour making it different from any other. Hand dyeing brings out the leather's natural qualities, turning its individual surface features into marks of character. POLISH At this stage, the skill and flair of our craftsmen
are equally as indispensable. While the roller turns mechanically,
it is our experienced experts who decide where to apply the roller
and when polishing is complete. Our craftsmen polish the leather
again and again, causing the oils applied during tanning to rise
to the surface and produce the brilliant shine. The endless shades
